The TICCIH-Brasil and the São Paulo State University Press Foundation began in 2019 an series of publications on industrial heritage (TICCIH series Brazil-New Perspectives), in ebook format, with free download-within the Open Acess implemented by the university. The first volume of this series deals with railway heritage and has recently been made available. The book Memory Railway and culture of work: theoretical balances and methodologies of registration of railway goods in a multidisciplinary persperctiva is available for free download.

Organized by Professor Eduardo Romero de Oliveira, the book was published with the support of the São Paulo State Research Foundation, through the Editora Cultura Acadêmica.  This is the second book published by the Railway Memory Project, whose first was published in 2017, result of investigations carried out between 2014 and 2016 (“Railway Memory (1869-1971): Inventory of Industrial Heritage railway Paulista” ). The organization of the current book Railway memory and work culture is formed by two different parts. The first of them on the system registry, and the second records of the Territory. The book brings together authors from different areas of formation, which provides the multidisciplinary character of the book.

“Railway Memory and work culture: theoretical balances and methodologies of registration of railway goods in a multidisciplinary perspective” can be consulted by free download on the website of the Editora Cultura academic, after the realization of the Registration and login on the publisher’s website. Its free access comprises the objectives of dissemination of the work carried out by the railway Memory project.
